I Have Pocket Rockets! How Do I Play It?

If you get pocket rockets (two aces) on the preflop, you will be happy. It’s the best starting hand is possible. But you must remember that it’s the best combination, but it doesn’t guarantee winning.
There are some psychological aspects in playing this hand. Many players play strongest hands like pocket rockets, but lose anywhere. It’s too hard to fold this hand.
If you have two aces on the preflop, what do you do? Of course rise! If you have pocked rockets, you must rise playing in any position, against anybody, in a table with any limits. Do it. Drive as many players as you can out the game.
OK. You are in a game. Flop is dealt. There are another tree cards on the table. Do you rise again? No, you don’t! You must calculate your odds before.
Calculate your odds to win, to get strong combination. Compare your odds with pot odds. Now look at the opponents. How do the play? Is thy bluff often? Or is they play solid poker?
If you have good chances to win, rise or call. But if you have bad opportunity, fold! Do not pay to view additional cards!
It’s hard to do. But you have to do it!
Many players call even the have no chances to win. They pay to lose. They think if they pay, there is their money in the pot. And the must protect their investments.
But there is nobody’s money in the pot! Pot isn’t your or yours opponents. You lose this money. It isn’t necessary to pay more. Remember if you have no chances, fold.
If you can fold with all hands, you have chance to become good player. If you can’t do it, you must learn it. Or you lose all your money.
